SACSA Athletics Carnival

On Wednesday last week, Endeavour proudly sent a squad of 36 students to compete in the SACSA Athletics Carnival, an exciting opportunity earned through strong performances at our recent school athletics carnival.

Conditions on the day could not have been better. With bright sunshine and clear blue skies, the setting was perfect for a full day of spirited competition. More importantly, our students made the most of it, demonstrating not only skill and preparation, but also resilience and determination.

Several standout performances that deserve special recognition:

  • Gurbaaz Sidhu - claimed victory in the Under 13 Boys Discus
  • Nia Wells - secured first place in the Under 14 Girls Discus
  • Ben Pearson - won the Under 14 Boys Shot Put
  • Ashrith Gandla - achieved a tied first place in the Under 15 Boys Long Jump.

Overall, the school achieved a ninth place finish, bringing home an impressive total of 17 ribbons across the day.

Beyond the results, the day was a wonderful example of teamwork, encouragement, and school spirit. We are incredibly proud of all our athletes for representing Endeavour so positively.

A big thank you also goes to the staff and student helpers who supported the event and ensured the day ran smoothly. Their contribution made a significant difference and is greatly appreciated.
