Mother's & Special Person's Day Stall
Our Mother's and Special Person's Day Stall is fast approaching and we are still on the lookout for volunteers - so far, our list is mostly filled with mums and special people that should be relaxing on the day. If you are someone that can help or you know someone that can help our mums and special people relax and enjoy the day by taking their place - simply click this link. For those who haven't volunteered with us before, now is the time and here's what you will need:
- A Current Working With Children's Check - these are valid for 5 years, are free when applying as a volunteer and can be done via online application.
- Complete the FWPS Volunteer Induction Process - a short online course, with all the information you need to know about volunteering within our amazing community.
- Lastly - Bring a friend! We need lots of helpers and we'd love to meet you!

Sub Committee Call Out
We're also looking for people who may be interested in contributing their time, ideas or expertise to our Trivia Night, Halloween Party and some upcoming fundraisers. If you think this might be you, please fill out this form and a member of the FWPS PA will be in touch. We are happy to work around you and every little bit helps us create opportunities to reach our fundraising goals.
Uniform Recycling
Last week, our FWPS PA superstar Bec, dropped off 91.4kgs of uniforms to the Textile Recyclers Group - that's the equivalent of roughly 364 bananas, or a fully grown red kangaroo!! WOW!
The clothes will be processed into recyclable yarn, which is used to make fabric packaging and products, like these incredible cushion covers. More information about what they do can be found at www.texrecaus.com, but what an amazing way to recycle our much loved second hand uniforms while saving our planet!
With thanks,
