Celebrating Our Special People

Join Us for Special Persons' Breakfast!
Come and share a celebratory breakfast before school with your child on Friday 11 September, between 8 – 9:30am, outside by the gym foyer. Students will head into their classrooms at 9am, giving adults a little extra time to chat and enjoy the morning on the school grounds.
This event is a chance for children to recognise and celebrate the special people in their lives – dads, grandpas, relatives, family friends, and anyone who plays an important role. While the event highlights dads, we warmly acknowledge and welcome the many different family structures in our community and aim to make the morning as inclusive as possible.
At Fairfield Primary School we know many families will celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday 6 September. We also recognise that this day can feel challenging or complex for some families for a variety of reasons. Throughout the year, our curriculum embraces and celebrates diverse family structures, and we refer to this occasion as ‘Special Person’s Day’.
If your child would benefit from additional support in navigating the day or its activities, please reach out to their classroom teacher or a Wellbeing Leader.
What's for breakfast?
We are offering a light baked-goods breakfast with sweet and savory bites:
- Mini sweet Danish rolls
- Cheese and vegemite rolls
- Iced buns
- Cheese and bacon mini scrolls
Coffee will be supplied by ST.ALi. A big thank you to parent Lachlan Ward for helping make this possible!
We will do a callout for some volunteers to assist on the day – keep an eye out for details in a Compass communication.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
