Year 3 - Middle Unit

Our Year 3 students have had a fantastic start to their camp experience. On the way to camp, students visited the Ballarat Wildlife Park, where they saw a wide variety of Australian animals and enjoyed their lunch alongside Crunch, an impressive 5-metre-long saltwater crocodile.

Afterwards, students travelled to Camp Adekate, where they started off with an ‘Amazing Race’-style activity. This fun and engaging challenge helped students build teamwork skills while also becoming familiar with the camp surroundings.

Following dinner, students participated in a night walk led by their instructor, Gabby. During this experience, they learnt about the importance of habitat trees and explored the many plants and animals that call the camp environment home.

Today, students are completing a range of exciting activities, including archery, ziplining and possum gliding, just to name a few. It has been wonderful to see students stepping outside their comfort zones, supporting one another and embracing all that camp has to offer.

All students are having a fantastic time and are looking forward to sharing their experiences with their families.
