Join the KilvingTones Choir

The KilvingTones Choir is delighted to welcome members of the Kilvington community to join us. While the choir was originally established for alumni, we are excited to now welcome parents and other members of our community as we continue to strengthen the connections that make Kilvington such a special place.

No matter your level of singing experience, you are welcome. The choir is currently made up of women, and we would especially love to welcome male voices, which would bring an exciting new depth and richness to our sound.

Rehearsals are held every Monday evening during school term in the Patsy Venn Centre at Kilvington. Members meet at 6.45pm for a 7.00–8.30pm rehearsal.Sessions are led by renowned conductor David Ashton-Smith OAM and accompanied by Kilvington Piano Teacher Kay Chim.

Premier's VCE awards

Achieving a study score of 50 in any VCE subject is an extraordinary accomplishment, and being recognised at the Premier’s VCE Awards is even more remarkable.

Congratulations to Kilvington alumna Jasmine Ptok (Class of 2025), who received a Premier’s VCE Award after attaining the maximum study score of 50 in VCE Food Studies.

Jasmine's success forms part of an outstanding VCE result, with her achieving an ATAR above 99 and placing in the top 1% of students across Victoria.

We congratulate Jasmine and her family on this well-deserved recognition. It was also wonderful for Food Technology Teacher Donna O'Callaghan to attend the ceremony and share in celebrating this significant milestone with her former student.

 The Kilvington Gallery of Distinction recognises alumni who have demonstrated sustained excellence throughout their lives and careers, and whose achievements and character serve as an inspiration to current and future students. Staff, current families and alumni are invited to submit a nomination. Nominations close Friday 31 July.
