ABSENCES

Parents/guardians are reminded to contact the school if their child is going to be absent.

KESOs (Koorie Engagement Support Officers)

KESOs support Koorie children and their families with assistance to make the journey through primary and secondary school as seamless as possible.

 

KESOs also connect with other relevant (school and regional staff) and external support workers to assist family engagement.

 

KESOs can assist with:

  • Individual Education Plan Meetings

  • Assist with Scholarship/s applications

  • Suspensions and Expulsions Meetings

 

Plus a whole range of other Educational needs.

It is important that we have up to date contact details for Students. Please remember if you move house, change phone numbers etc that you please let us know so we can change it on our records.

UNIFORM DONATIONS

Our Welfare team would be grateful for any uniform donations. If you have any spare uniforms that are no longer needed, please feel free to drop items into the Admin Office.

CSEF Information

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps ensure that no student misses out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities. It is part of making Victoria the Education State and the Government's commitment to breaking the link between a student's background and their achievements.

 

Families must hold a valid means-tested concession card to apply. Eligible students will receive $400 per year to go towards Camps, Excursions and Activities.

 

If you received CSEF funding last year at Horsham College and your circumstances have not changed we will apply for the 2026 CSEF Funding on your behalf, however it is highly recommended that you contact the Administration Office to confirm that you received the funds in 2025 to ensure you do not miss out.

 

Parents/Guardians will only need to complete new Application forms if you have:

  • New student enrolments (Year 7 Student)

  • Changed family circumstances: such as a change of custody, change of name, concession card number, or new siblings commencing at the school

   

How to Apply

• Contact the Horsham College Administration office to obtain a CSEF application form. Applications close at the end of Term 2 2026.

Home Eco & Cooking Classes - Reminder

Just a reminder for students in cooking classes, to please remember to bring a suitable size container and cutlery to each of their classes.

Year 10 Camp Deposit Information

  • Year 10 Camp deposits will open on 8:30am, Monday 23 February 2026.
  • Payments may be made on QKR or in person at the Administration Office from 8:30am.
  • Payments will not be accepted over the phone — you must attend in person.
  • Deposits must be paid in full. Please note that CSEF or SSB cannot be used for deposit payments.
