Parent Information Evening

Our Parent Information Evening held last night provided families with a warm and engaging opportunity to learn more about the year ahead at St Helena’s Catholic Primary School. Teachers shared key curriculum focuses, classroom routines, and expectations for each year level, ensuring parents have a clear understanding of how to best support their children’s learning. The evening also strengthened our partnership with families, reinforcing the collaborative approach that underpins our school community. Slides from the presentations will be shared on Seesaw.
A key highlight of the event was the dedicated Cyber Safety Presentation, designed to address the growing need for safe and responsible technology use. Parents were guided through current online trends, potential risks, and practical strategies to help children navigate the digital world with confidence. Topics included managing screen time, understanding social media use, recognising online red flags, and fostering healthy digital habits at home. Please refer to the email that has been sent today for further information that was shared.
