Year 5 & 6 Day Camp
Our Year 5 and 6 students recently enjoyed an exciting 3-day camp filled with adventure, teamwork, and memorable moments.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, students travelled to the Upper Plenty Conference Centre (UPCC), where they participated in a wide range of outdoor activities, including the flying fox, tube slide, archery, sports, and many other classic camp experiences. Throughout the two days, students demonstrated resilience, teamwork, confidence and enthusiasm while encouraging and supporting one another.
On Thursday, students spent the day at school in casual clothes and participated in a range of fun, engaging activities. Throughout the day, students learnt and played a variety of new games, made delicious fruit skewers and chocolate truffles, and competed in a number of exciting challenges. It was fantastic to see all students actively involved, working collaboratively with their peers and enjoying the opportunity to celebrate the end of a wonderful camp experience together.
The camp provided students with valuable opportunities to challenge themselves, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories. It was wonderful to see students stepping outside their comfort zones and embracing each activity with a positive attitude.
We would like to thank all staff and parvolunteers who helped make the experience such a huge success.
