National Reconciliation Week 2026

This week, our school community joins people across Australia in recognising National Reconciliation Week, held each year from the 27th of May to the 3rd of June.

Reconciliation Week is an important opportunity to learn about and reflect on the shared histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while considering how we can all contribute to a more respectful and united Australia.

As part of our learning and celebrations, we are excited to welcome Dion Drummond to our school on Monday, the 1st of June, for a whole-school incursion. Through this experience, students will engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures in a meaningful and interactive way. The incursion will support students in valuing diversity, building empathy, and strengthening connections within our community.

* Please note this is an incursion at no cost to our families.

We thank our families for supporting these important conversations and learning opportunities as we continue to learn and grow together.

Have a wonderful weekend.
