Deputy Principal

Dear Sacred Heart Community,
This is without doubt my favourite time of year. Autumnal days are the most delightful of all; early fog lifting early morning to warmth, blue skies and gentle suns. Not to mention the myriad of magnificent colours on display. I hope you're enjoying it too......coz winter will be not tooo far away.
Garden Club
A big shout out to Madelyn Reid and Connor Garde from Year 3/4 who this week launched Garden Club, who will meet every Friday to work in the garden, making our school look even prettier. Yesterday a bunch of green fingers met and planted sunflowers and marigolds. We also trellised the snow peas which have enjoyed this warm weather. Please let your child know that everyone is welcome to join us, down where the planter boxes are.
Chloe David and Austin Archer, our Sustainability Leaders, are keen to get a garden compost going so we can reuse our food scraps and lawn clippings and turn them back into the soil, providing it with lots of nutrients plants, flowers and vegetables need to grow.
Exciting times ahead!
