From the Deputy Principal

Academic Reports
As we embark on Semester 2, we encourage all students to reflect thoughtfully on their Semester 1 academic reports. Reports are far more than a record of past achievements; they provide valuable pathways for future growth. Responding to the feedback shared by teachers at the Parent Teacher interviews at the beginning of this term is a valuable resource to frame and support students to identify key areas for development, and set clear, actionable goals for improvement. Whether it is refining study habits, seeking extra help when needed, or aiming to be more focused in specific subjects, we encourage all of our students to strive for their best and utilise the support structures available.
Maintaining Global Connections
In Mary Ward Connect Week, we were delighted to be able to also welcome staff and students from Obayashi Sacred Heart School to actively maintain our global connections. In a world where perspectives can seem to be narrowing, this exchange and relationship offered a meaningful opportunity for our students to build genuine global connections with students from Obayashi.
The enduring bonds of friendship and cultural exchange created during this visit strengthen our students' understanding of our responsibility to maintain global connections and an outward-looking focus. I extend my thanks to the families who have welcomed and hosted our international guests and to the staff who have facilitated this visit.
