Heidi Ricketts

Role: Visual Arts and Design Teacher

Interest: I enjoy practising yoga and Pilates to stay active and energised. I also like swimming and spending time outdoors in nature. Being outside is a great way to unwind and recharge.

Favourite Colour:  Blue is my favourite—it’s calming and reminds me of the sky and the ocean.

How have you settled into the new school and role: 

I’ve really enjoyed settling in. The staff have been warm and welcoming, and the students are curious, engaged, and eager to learn, which makes teaching rewarding. The school has a strong culture of collaboration and support, providing plenty of opportunities to share ideas and grow professionally. I’m happy to be part of this community and look forward to contributing in the coming months

Louise Burn

Role: English/Humanities Teacher

Interest: Yoga and Pilates, time in nature

Favourite Colour: Green

How have you settled into the new school and role: 

Viewbank has been great so far. The positive presence of leadership was something I noticed straight away and I think this really contributes to the strong community-feel. C-Block opened me with welcome arms and there is always someone available to help when needed. It's been very refreshing!

Role: Psychologist

Interest: Musicals, live music, travelling, and enjoying time in the sun whenever it makes an appearance

How have you settled into the new school and role: 

I have really enjoyed getting to know and working with the students and staff at Viewbank. It’s great to be working in a school with a dedicated wellbeing space and fabulous wellbeing team!
