Victoria Global Learning Awards

On Friday 27th June the Victorian Global Learning awards were celebrated at the RACV club in the city.

Our very own college captain Jules Nguyen was nominated for the categories of community engagement.

The awards celebrate and reward the academic excellence and outstanding extra-curricular achievements of Victoria’s international school students. The awards also recognise Victorian schools for promoting global learning and engagement.

Jules is a dynamic student leader whose contributions have made a lasting impact on her school and also community.

Jules is the debate club captain, she mentors younger students in critical thinking and public speaking. She played a key role in organising a STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) futures conference managing logistics and recruiting science professionals.

Outside of school Jules serves as a Banyule Youth Representative , advocating for youth issues and inspiring meaningful change. She also mentors international students promoting inclusivity through cultural events and personal support. Her dedication to school spirit, sustainability and youth advocacy reflects her commitment to making a difference in her community.

We are extremely excited and proud of Jules achievement in winning this award.

Congratulations.
