Year 9 Victorian Young Leaders to China Program

We are excited to share that 14 of our Year 9 students were successfully selected to participate in the prestigious Victorian Young Leaders to China 2025.

Over the course of two weeks, our students engaged in an intensive Chinese language learning program, developing their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, through interactive lessons and cultural activities.

As part of the program, students also took part in a special excursion to Melbourne’s Chinatown, where they joined in a fast-paced Amazing Run and Treasure Hunt. This hands-on experience allowed students to practise their language skills in real-life settings, while exploring the rich history and culture of the Chinese community in Melbourne.

The program has not only strengthened students’ Chinese language proficiency, but also encouraged them to build confidence, teamwork and leadership skills. We are proud of their enthusiasm, resilience and achievement throughout this unique learning journey.
