Junior School Report

Junior School News

As we close out Term 3, it’s wonderful to reflect on the many ways our Junior School students have lived out our core value of Success. Success takes many shapes – striving for personal bests, showing courage in new situations, collaborating with peers and celebrating growth both inside and outside the classroom.

This term, our Year 7 English cohort attended a screening of Into the Spider-Verse. Students didn’t just enjoy the film – they also explored its powerful themes of resilience, identity and community, making rich connections to their classroom learning. This experience highlighted how success comes from thinking critically, embracing creativity and applying learning in meaningful ways.

We also celebrated success on stage at the Dance Review, where our talented performers showcased their energy, teamwork and dedication. The courage to step onto the stage, the persistence in rehearsals and the joy of sharing their art with our community all spoke to the many facets of success we value.

Congratulations to all our Year 7 and 8 students for the way you have approached Term 3. Whether through academic effort, creative expression, or personal growth, your achievements have contributed to a thriving and supportive Junior School culture. We look forward to seeing you continue to strive for success in Term 4.

Badminton State Finals

2 days ago, was the badminton states for the year 7 girls. All the girls tried their best and we made it to the semi finals. The girls who made to the A team are Cassy, Allison, Meagan, Teagan and Ayah. I would like to say a big thank you to all the coaches and the teachers, Mr Sirianni and Ms Warren. The badminton coaches: Mia, Athena, Kingston and Reese for taking us on the tram to MSAC. It was a very amazing day and everyone did very well to make it to the finals. Sadly, we did lose the semi finals because it was very hard to beat the final school. Even though we lost to the final school, we were all very proud to make it that far.  Overall, we made it to 3rd or 4th place. – Teagan Tran, 7E.

Kind regards
