Enhancement Program

Our Enhancement students excel at CHES Model United Nations Conference
The Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES), in partnership with the United Nations Association of Australia (Victoria Division), brought together students from a wide range of schools across Victoria for an online Model United Nations Conference on Thursday, 19 March. The conference explored the theme:‘Space Research and Sustainable Development: Improving Life on Earth’.
Held over half a school day, the Model UN Conference was a dynamic simulation of the United Nations General Assembly, with students representing Member States. Working in small teams, students stepped into the role of country ambassadors, drawing on negotiation and diplomacy skills to ensure their nation’s perspectives were heard.
Students presented their country’s position to the General Assembly, engaged with other delegates during caucus sessions, and proposed amendments to a draft UN resolution.
Our students worked exceptionally hard in preparing their presentations and delivered confident and compelling statements to the 'General Assembly.'
Congratulations to Kim, Haley, Mia, Agam, Muhammad, Yuvika, Alyse, Logan and Rebecca on your outstanding work.
