Staff Versus Students Netball

On Tuesday, 17 March, our school community was treated to an exciting and spirited Staff vs Students Netball Competition.

With plenty of friendly rivalry on display, both teams took to the court determined to claim bragging rights. The Year 12 students showed great teamwork and enthusiasm, keeping the game competitive and engaging from start to finish. However, the staff team proved to be a formidable opponent, demonstrating accurate shooting and excellent defensive pressure throughout the match. Their experience ultimately shone through, securing a convincing 9–3 victory over the Year 12s.

The match was a fantastic display of school spirit, with spectators cheering from the sidelines and enjoying the positive atmosphere. Events like these are a wonderful way to bring students and staff together outside the classroom.

Well done to both teams on a fantastic match. We look forward to the next Staff versus Students competition in Term 2!

March Madness on the Sporting Field!

March was a huge and action-packed month for our interschool sports program, with students proudly representing the College across a range of Interschool competitions.

We kicked things off with our Year 7 Boys and Girls Volleyball teams competing at Casey Stadium on the 2nd of March. It was a fantastic day, with all teams securing wins and showing great determination. A special congratulations to our Boys and Girls A teams, who both finished in third place. The students’ teamwork and outstanding behaviour throughout the day were a credit to the College.

Their hard work and dedication were on full display and we congratulate all students involved on their efforts. A special congratulations to Mara Kerslake (11A), who placed second in the 50 metre breaststroke at the Southern Metropolitan Regional Swimming Competition held in Oakleigh on 23 March - an outstanding achievement.
