Week 9
What a fun and busy Week 9 we’ve had at OSHClub! Our Breakfast Club was filled with some delicious favourites, including homemade chocolate muffins, creamy milkshakes, pancakes, mini waffles and warm hot chocolates to start the mornings.
Our Snack Squad afternoons were another big hit, with the children enjoying a variety of tasty meals throughout the week. Vietnamese pho noodle soup was especially popular, alongside fresh salad wraps, garlic bread with tomato soup, DIY sushi bowls and homemade pizza scrolls made completely from scratch. It was great to see the children getting involved and enjoying a range of different flavours!
We continued exploring our Inventors Lab theme through lots of creative and hands-on experiences. Children designed rocket space stations, made daisy chains, created their own playdough and built lots of amazing Hama bead models. LEGO construction was also very popular, with children designing airports and train stations, while other creative stations included tie-dye watercolour experiments, cardboard creations, 3D fluffy painting and DIY felt and paper squishies. Of course, we couldn’t forget some delicious Milo no-bake balls!
With the weather starting to warm up, we’ve been making the most of the outdoors with plenty of physical play. Children enjoyed soccer, basketball, octopus, farmer sam, gagaball, football, tennis, table tennis and dodgeball, along with lots of junior playground time. It has been wonderful seeing everyone getting outside, moving their bodies and enjoying the warmer weather!
Holiday Program
Our September Holiday Program is just around the corner, and we have an exciting two weeks of adventures planned! From wildlife encounters, reptile shows and a petting zoo to the Royal Melbourne Show, Gumbaya World and a special movie excursion, there will be plenty of fun for everyone. We also have creative make-and-take activities, STEM experiences, cooking and animal-themed games planned throughout the holidays. Accessing After hours
For the safety of all families, we ask that parents and carers enter and exit through the side pedestrian gate next to Reception when collecting children after hours, rather than through the reception area. This designated access point provides a safer route to the OSHC service and helps minimise the need for families to walk through areas that may not be supervised or accessible after school hours. Thank you for supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
