Buddies M4 and F1
Every year on the 26th of May, National Sorry Day remembers and acknowledges the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, which we now know as ‘The Stolen Generations’. National Sorry Day acknowledges the strength of Stolen Generations Survivors and reflects on how we can all play a part in the healing process for our people and nation.
Buddy classes M4 and F1 learnt about National Sorry Day and created an art piece using First Nations symbols and colours. These art pieces are displayed in their respective classrooms.
