Cross Country

House Cross Country

On Wednesday 1st May all students participated in the House Cross Country. They ran, jogged or walked the 3km course along walking track on Connaught Rd. It was fantastic to see everyone trying their best and earning points for their house. Congratulations to the following students for placing in the Top 10 for their age groups. These students were eligible to compete at the Division Cross Country.

Division Cross Country

31 students headed to Presidents Park on Tuesday 27th May to represent the College in the Division Cross Country. It was a chilly day with a strong head wind for half of the course. The students gave it their all and we had 15 students qualify for the Regional Championships on Thursday 19th June. Congratulations to Akot for finishing 2nd in the 12/13 Boys race.

Today, Brinbeal Secondary College participated in Division Cross Country. I completed in the U14s race, it was highly competitive. Also a great opportunity for students to showcase their running skills. Despite facing tough conditions, everyone participated wonderfully.

Brinbeal Secondary College participated in Division Cross Country. The race was challenging, pressuring and a bit scary. Lots of people in our school qualified and celebrated making it to the next round.

Today I went to cross country. 12/13 girls ran first. I went in the 12/13 girls so it was nice to get it out of the way. Then it was the 12/13 boys, then 14 girls and lastly 14 boys. While everyone else was running I helped take photos. I came 17th, I was only 2 places away from getting into the next round.
