Student of the Month

April

As part of our acknowledgement of students who are representing our College Values, we will be presenting Student of the Month awards to students we believe have best represented the values during each month.

 

7A- Aya Baltagi

"Aya is always trying her best and supporting others in the class. Aya is always respectful and kind and actively demonstrates the school values at all times."

 

 

 

7B- Shayaan Dhillon

"Shayaan is a positive class member always contributing to class discussions, encouraging his peers and has shown a great improvement in challenging himself in his learning, especially in instances where the set work was relatively straight forward for him to complete. Earlier in the year his attitude was to push through the work and then not want to do extension tasks, however he has shown to be more receptive to putting in more effort in his work."

7C- Caleb Sarical

"Caleb has been an integral part of 7C this year. Not only is he a fantastic SRC, but he continues to be respectful towards all peers and teachers. He is a student you can rely on when you need class input, and is always willing to put his hand up and nominate himself. I have loved seeing Caleb be inclusive during PE sessions and watching him lead small groups with ease.  

Caleb always tries his best and shows great enthusiasm for learning Chinese. He takes risks in speaking Chinese and is not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them."

7D- Luis Rios Turrent

"Luis has consistently shown leadership and growth upon moving to 7D. He is a positive member of the class and is always being respectful and kind.

 

Luis participates actively in class and helps create a positive learning environment. He shows persistence when learning new Chinese words and phrases."  

7E- Indiana Murray

"Indiana is an active and respectful member of our class. She always contributes meaningfully to class discussions and tries her best, no matter the task or topic ."

 

 

 

7F- Samaaha Dubuly

"Samaaha has a great attitude, is always the one to offer assistance, pick up rubbish in the class without being asked, move tables or chairs as required. She is studious, polite and upholds college values each and every day."

 

 

7G- Uzma Ulfah Mohd Rizal

"Uzma is always very respectful in class. Consistently contributing to class discussions, striving to improve. She is very receptive to feedback and is willing to challenge herself in her learning. She also always shows kindness towards the teacher, giving positive feedback on the impact of the support provided to her." 

 

7H- Nafeesa Anzar

"Nafeesa has been doing an amazing job at being 7H's SRC. During mentor group she goes through the bulletin with the class, and engages her peers throughout each morning's presentations. She has great natural leadership abilities and I have enjoyed watching them continue to grow as she thrives as 7H's SRC. 

Nafeesa is also always engaged in Spanish classes, challenging herself and supporting her peers. She works hard and has deep insights into concepts and issues."

7I- Gulshan Zahra

"Gulshan is a respectful member of our class. She always gets her work done and isn't afraid to ask questions when she needs help. 

Gulshan is always challenging herself in Spanish and engaging actively in tasks. Gulshan takes pride in her work and does not rush her work to just get it done. She is a responsible role model for her peers."

7J- Taysir Islam

"Taysir is able to stay focused and on task, avoiding distractions. He uses feedback to improve his learning. Taysir supports his friends to improve their learning and is a role model for the other students in the classroom."

 

 

7K- Reem Abed Allah

"Reem consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and approaches every task and activity with a growth mindset.  She implements feedback provided to her and frequently supports her peers to complete tasks in Humanities. Reem is an active listener and contributes to class discussions."

 

 

 

8A- Adisyn Coli

"Adisyn has shown significant growth in her condifence and contributions in Performing Arts. She regularly shares her learning with her peers through discussion and uses her class time wisely."

 

 

 

8B- Manreet Kaur

"Manreet encourages others and shows kindness, helping make our Chinese classroom a supportive space. She has made wonderful progress in her speaking and writing skills in Chinese."

 

 

 

8C- Bibek Grewal

"Bibek is a respected and reliable member of the class who always supports his classmates and strives to reach his full potential. His dedication and positive attitude make him a valued part of 8C."

 

 

 

8D- Marie Kiza

"Marie demonstrates a real passion for Chinese culture and language, both in and out of class. She shows persistence when learning new Chinese words and phrases."

 

 

 

8E- Armaan Singh Bhullar

"During PE this month, Armaan has shown our school value of aspiration and achievement by pushing himself to achieve his best and helping others to achieve their best. Keep up the good work Armaan!"

 

 

8F- Muriel Saidu

"Muriel always works to a high standard in Health and PE. She always contributes to class discussions, asks questions when needed and helps out her peers. She has also shown a high level of aspiration and achievement outside the classroom, winning Age Group Champion at our athletics carnival! 

Muriel has used feedback to improve her writing and has consistently worked hard to improve her writing ability, producing a fantastic feature article. 

Muriel is a highly engaged student and she produced an excellent assessment task for Spanish. She is friendly, respectful, and takes responsibility for her learning."

8G- Maurya Modi

"Maurya has shown consistent effort, a positive attitude, steady improvement, and a strong commitment to learning, making him truly deserving."

 

 

 

8H- Hala Baltaji

"Hala has taken great initiative since being nominated as Warrat's House Captain. She is actively engaging with her peers in Green House, and is always  thinking of ways she can make Green House better. I loved seeing her in her element during Athletics Day helping to organise and support her team. 

Hala is always willing to join in class discussions and can be relied upon to be a positive influence for her peers in 8H. She is developing into a wonderful role model and leader. 

Hala actively participates in all class discussions. She has the drive to learn more and always improve. A worthy recipient."

8I- Kulsev Singh

"Kulsev is a very responsible learner who always demonstrates positive and respectful behaviour. He is quiet but focused and makes sure to complete all his work to the best of his ability.

 

Kulsev is a polite and respectful student. He is always helpful to his peers and is a good role model. "
