School Cross Country Trials
Last Thursday, our Grade 4-6 students took part in our School Cross Country Trials at McDonald Reserve. Students walked to the reserve together before competing in their races, with Grade 4 students completing 2km and our Grade 5 and 6 students taking on the 3km course.
It was fantastic to see such strong participation and determination from all involved. We had some exceptional results on the day, but most importantly, students gave their best effort and showed great resilience and sportsmanship throughout the event.
A big congratulations to all students who participated and thank you to the staff and parent helpers for your support in making the event run smoothly.
Manchester City Football Primary School Program
We are excited to share that 14 of our Grade 4 students are participating in the Manchester City Football School Program at Parade College. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to engage in a high quality soccer program delivered by experienced coaches, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game understanding.
Throughout the program, students will take part in structured training sessions designed to develop their dribbling, passing, movement, and decision-making in game situations. The sessions also place a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, communication, and working collaboratively as part of a team.
We are incredibly proud of the students involved and look forward to seeing their soccer skills and confidence continue to grow through this exciting experience.
