Writing and Artwork Categories
Celebrate the birthdays of the Paddlesteamers Canberra and Alexander Arbuthnot with new stories, poems or artwork of your choice.
Create a short story, poem or piece using one (or more) of the following prompts:
- Echuca/Moama history
- The rivers that bind us together
- Twin Towns community
- Sharing stories, people and cultural connections
1000-word limit for a written story or poem.
Artwork can be in any medium but no larger than A2.
Draw upon your own experience living in our Twin Towns or be creative and imagine a whole new story and tell it your way. Make sure you have fun doing it!
Entries close on September 15th.
*By entering this competition, you agree that your work may be put on display in the Discovery Centre, shared online by EPS, MRPS or the Port of Echuca and it may be published in the Riverine Herald.
