Around the School
P&F Thank you
Thank you to our Parents and Friends for the fantastic Father's Day Stall they ran last Friday. They never fail to come up with a brilliant and diverse array of gifts for Dad - clearly a lot of thought and planning goes into the stall, and we are very appreciative of all their hard work!
2023 HSC Body of Work
Congratulations to the students who exhibited their unique works at our HSC Body of Work Exhibition last Friday afternoon/evening. The exhibition was the culmination of many months research, experimenting and hard work - well done, everyone!
Greater Western Sydney AFL Academy
We would like to congratulate Lachlan Nagle from 6A and Jack Kohn from 8B for being selected to play for the GWS Academy in Canberra during the upcoming school holidays. Considering selection only allows the top 48 players to progress, this is a huge milestone. We wish you both all the best as you continue to prepare for exciting opportunity.
Mt Hotham Racing Squad
Next week, Tor Kenley in 6A is travelling to Christchurch for two weeks with the Big Mountain Free Skiers Team from Mt Hotham Racing Squad. Tor will be training and competing in the World Junior Free Ride Competition at Mt Olympus. This is Tor's first international competition where he will further his free riding skills and push his limits by being challenged in different ways. During the training and competition, Tor will be learning about the management of avalanche risk and developing his backcountry skiing skills. We wish Tor all the best and we look forward to hearing all about your trip when you return in Term 4.
