ACS Athletics Carnvial

A team of 39 students attended the ACS Athletics Carnival in Tamworth last Tuesday. After being postponed the week before due to flooding, it was a beautiful sunny day at the Tamworth Athletics Complex for the event. 

Our students displayed excellent sportsmanship throughout the day whether it was competing in their track or field events or supporting their teammates from the sidelines!! 

They were definitely the loudest cheer squad by far with an uproar of excitement each time a teammate’s name was called over the loudspeaker for making finals and top 3 results!! 

Well done to everyone who participated and gave their best. A huge congratulations to the

 following students: 

• Callum O’Neill - ACS Junior Boy Champion

•  Stella Craig - ACS Junior Girl Runner Up

   

Congratulations to Callum O’Neill, Stella Craig, Chloe Holden and Zoe Wannan who will be attending the Polding Trials in Glendale on Friday 12th September 2025.
