School Advisory Council - Annual General Meeting
The School Advisory Council Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 4th November 2025 at 5.30pm in the Staffroom.
There are 3 positions for parent representatives available on the School Advisory Council.
If you are interested in one of these positions please collect a nomination form from the school office and return by Tuesday 24th October 2025.
What does the Catholic School Advisory Council do?
The Catholic School Advisory Council provides the opportunity for members of the school and parish community to support the mission of Catholic education in the school. Working with the Principal and the Parish Priest, the members of the Council and its committees provide guidance and support to the wider school community.
The School Advisory Council meets once a Term for an hour. School Advisory Council members:
· value and respect the Catholic identity of the school, its relationship to the parish community and the expression of its ethos through rituals, traditions, symbols and the teaching of Catholic beliefs
· act as role models within the school community by reflecting the values and ethos of the school
· work collaboratively with the Parish Priest, the Principal and the wider school community
· build and nurture a sense of community
SUMMER UNIFORM CHANGEOVER
The official changeover to Summer Uniform is from Monday 1st September 2025. However, with the weather now starting to warm up students may choose to come to school in either Winter or Summer uniform. Parents are advised to use their discretion depending on the weather.
Please remember though, depending on your choice, that the students are to be dressed in either:
FULL SUMMER UNIFORM: A school jumper or jacket may be worn.
FULL WINTER UNIFORM - including school tie.
*** stockings are NOT to be worn with summer dresses.
*** no short sleeve shirts with trousers.
*** no long sleeve shirts with shorts.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
RETURNING MONIES TO SCHOOL - When returning notes to school which require money to be sent with them, please ensure to put the note along with the money in an envelope or sandwich bag.
This is to prevent monies being mixed up or lost.
AFTER SCHOOL ARRANGEMENTS
Before your child/ren arrive at school, we ask that you please communicate with them their after school arrangements and how they are getting home in the afternoon.
While we understand arrangements can change it is important that your child/ren are aware of their home time instructions.

6792 1796 and we will give your child a message.
CLOTHING POOL OPENING HOURS
FATHER'S DAY BREAKFAST
The St Francis Xavier's annual Father's Day Breakfast will be held on Friday 5th September.
An invitation to the breakfast was sent home last Monday and is available on Compass. RSVPs are due back next Friday 29th August.
Please note: Breakfast is for the adults only.
Please ensure your family are aware of the parking options available.

SCHOOL FEES
School Fee Statements were emailed to families on
the 7th August 2025.
School fees may be paid either in full or by instalment. A recurring BPAY payment is the recommended option for instalments.
Payment options include:

🟢 EFTPOS - available at the school front office or over the phone
🟢 Compass Pay
🟢 Cash or Cheque
🟢 ADIG direct debit - please contact Ms Hogan if you would like further information about this option.
Please remember, if you are experiencing difficulty, please do not hesitate to contact the school office to arrange a payment plan.
School fees are required to cover our running costs so it is important that your account is paid on time. Thank you for your co-operation.
