The King’s College was invited by the City of Kwinana to spread joy throughout our community. Our TKC singers shared uplifting gospel music with everyone. It was a pleasant afternoon, and the performance dazzled the crowd with songs that filled them with Christmas cheer! We hope they experience the light of laughter, the warmth of love, and the joy of gratitude this season!

 Santa Gets the Gospel

Our TKC Christmas Services this year were about Santa Gets the Gospel. I was acting with Zandile, and we were telling Santa how the Angels got us ready for the Good News, how God has paid for it all and how Christmas means CHRIST has MAS-sive love for us all. A highlight for me was the Gospel songs and the acting. The Primary Choir and Secondary Singers sang some favourite Christmas songs that tell the story of Jesus' birth and the reason for the season, all in Gospel style! We sang to our hearts' content with Mary's Boy Child, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, Away in a Manger, Oh Holy Night, Go Tell It On a Mountain, and Joyful Joyful. To me, Christmas means that Christ was born, and it's time to celebrate all that He’s done and all the sins He has paid for. It was good to see everyone in the Christmas Spirit with all their Christmas hats and gospel robes on! Here's wishing everyone finds Jesus in this season, for He is the reason why we celebrate! 

Kindy Students Spread Joy

Recently, both Kindy classrooms hopped on a bus for a trip to perform for some residents from local retirement villages. Over the last term, the students have been learning ways to spread joy. We hand-crafted some beautiful Christmas ornaments, learnt some catchy Christmas songs and took a shared morning tea. The children were complimented on their beautiful performance and amazing behaviour. Their highlights included going on a bus ride, performing on the stage and making the grannies' and grandpas' hearts grow with joy!
