Highvale Planting

On Thursday 11th, our Green Team students helped plant the new front garden under our new school sign. This exciting project includes many native plants that grow naturally in our area, helping our school support local wildlife and create a beautiful, sustainable space for our community.
Every Green Team student had the chance to take part in the planting. They worked together to dig, place, and water the new plants, showing great teamwork and care for our environment. Our Grade 6 Green Team leaders also stepped up, guiding and supporting the younger students as they worked. Their leadership helped make the planting smooth, successful and enjoyable for everyone.
This new garden is a wonderful example of our students taking action to care for their school and the environment. We look forward to watching it grow over the coming months.
We would also like to thank Chris Vat who volunteered his time to plan out this garden with our Grade 6 students and help plant everything on the day.
Well done Green Team!
