It was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout at our Mother’s Day Mass today. Our Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students presented exceptionally well and proudly showcased their growing connection to prayer, faith, and the celebration of Jesus. Their reverence, confidence, and participation were a wonderful reflection of the values we continue to nurture at St Mary’s School Rushworth.Recently, I had the opportunity to meet with the Rushworth Parish Pastoral Council to discuss ways in which St. Mary’s School can continue to strengthen its connection with the parish and wider church community. Together, we explore opportunities to deepen these relationships and support the ongoing rejuvenation of the parish, while continuing to honor the rich traditions and faith history of our community. Our sacramental program will recommence later this term, culminating in students receiving the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation.  

We are pleased to share that the new Bishop has been tentatively booked for Saturday 26th July to celebrate these important milestones with our students and families. 

Further information regarding sacramental preparation meetings and important dates will be sent to families shortly. We look forward to supporting our students as they continue this significant stage of their faith journey.
