Performing Arts

The first few weeks of Term 2 for Grade 3/4 in Performing Arts have been very busy and very productive! Students have been learning about tableaux; the drama practise of A "living picture". This is a theatrical technique where actors pose silently and motionlessly to tell a story without words. 

Students have been learning a song called “The Children Came Back” which is a celebration of First Nations survival, resilience, and cultural triumphs.  They have thoroughly enjoyed this and have been reflecting deeply and developing a great curiosity about the history of Australia’s indigenous people.
