Grade 5/6 & Foundation Education Week

The theme of 2026 Education Weekis Showcase your school, encouraging school communities to celebrate what’s great about their school. During the week our students participated in activities including:

🎨 1. “What Makes Fitzroy Primary Special?” Buddy Poster

✏️ 2. Two‑Voice Poem: “Our School, Our Story”

🎭 3. Quick Drama Freeze Frames: “Scenes from Our School”

📚 4. Buddy Reading + “Showcase Your Favourite Book”

🌱 5. Nature Snapshot: “Our School Environment” 

"During our buddy time the 5/6s worked with the preps. We helped them make posters on how wonderful our school is! Because it is! As we were working with the preps,  some of the children shared what they love about our school, some said they loved the playground, some said they liked how kind the teachers are, and some just loved it all!"

"Pour la semaine d'education, les 5/6 ont socialisee avec les eleves de foundation. Ensemble, on a cree des posters avec des dessins a propos de ce qu`on aime a Fitzroy P.S. Quelques gents ont mis leur profeseurs, la recreation et les amis.
