Year 12 student wins 

NEXT 2024 Highly Commended Award

We are thrilled to announce that Year 12 2024 student 

Linh Vo 

has been awarded the prestigious 

NEXT 2024 Highly Commended Award

 for her outstanding Visual Arts major work

Nét Vẽ Của Ký ức: Hồi Ức Về Bà 

(Traces of Memory: Reminiscence of You). 

This Award was presented to Linh at the NEXT 2024 Exhibition Launch

held at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre on Saturday, 15th February 2025.

Linh's Body of Work was selected for this honour due to its exceptional artistic quality and conceptual depth. Her work exemplifies exceptional visual arts skills and a profound emotional connection to her subject matter, elegantly capturing the essence of memory and personal history, deeply resonating with viewers.

As part of this achievement, Linh was awarded a certificate and a $500 prize, 

recognising her dedication, talent and creative vision. 

This is a remarkable accomplishment, 

and we are incredibly proud of Linh for her hard work and artistic excellence.

Linh’s artwork will remain on display until Sunday 6th April 2025 at Casula Powerhouse.
