Yakult factory excursion

Year 12 business management students visited the Yakult factory in Dandenong. Our unit 3 study requires students to apply real life situations to their class studies. Students were able to observe the operations processes involved in manufacturing the probiotic drink. Students saw Yakult have a strong reliance on technology and robotics with only 50 staff needed in a plant that produces 400,000 products weekly. Students were able to sample Yakult and many were surprised at how tasty it was. Our guts feel better already!
