NEWS FROM GRADE 1’s
In Reading, we have started learning about inferring. Students are learning to use clues from the text and pictures, along with what they already know, to work out information that the author has not told us directly. We are also working towards building our independent reading stamina, with students gradually increasing the amount of time they can read quietly and independently.
