Curriculum
We congratulate students on their diligent work this term. As we head into the last few weeks of Term 1, Year 10, 11 and 12 students have a number of formal assessment tasks.
Students are encouraged to ensure that they do not miss any class time in the lead-up to assessments, and that they discuss their tasks with their teachers and ask any questions to ensure they fully understand all the requirements of the task. Careful and deliberate planning of time at home will be a key factor in managing this period without stress.
The Illness/Misadventure process is there to support students who become ill, so please access that immediately if you have any issues.
Interim Student Learner Profiles (SLPs) will be shared with parents early in Week 8. These interim reports focus on a student’s organisation and management, their learning behaviours such as working with others and reflecting on feedback, their demonstrated attitude to learning, and their learning relationships in the classroom. This is an opportunity to reflect on the way that a student’s focus and commitment contributes to their learning success, and make any necessary adjustments before the Semester Report in Term 2.
