Chapel Mass and Catechist Commissioning
On Wednesday 11 March, members of the college community were given the opportunity to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and to gather in the Chapel at lunch time to celebrate Mass. We thank Fr Johnson for visiting the College and celebrating the Mass with our students, providing a meaningful opportunity for prayer, reflection, and renewal.
A special moment during the Mass was the commissioning of our Year 10 and Year 11 Student Catechists. These students generously volunteer their time to serve as Special Religious Education teachers at Glenmore Park Primary School, sharing the message of the Gospel with younger students.
Through this commissioning, our Catechists were formally recognised and blessed for their ministry, as they commit to living out their faith through service, leadership, and witness. We thank them for their willingness to put their faith into action and for representing our College in the wider parish and school community.
We also thank Fr Johnson for supporting our students in their faith journey and for helping to strengthen the spiritual life of our College community.
St Mary MacKillop Faith in Action Award Program
Year 8 and Year 10 students have been invited to participate in the inaugural St Mary MacKillop Faith in Action Award Program. Inspired by the life and mission of Saint Mary MacKillop and grounded in Catholic Social Teaching, this program encourages students to live out their faith through advocacy, service and outreach.
Through their participation, students will have opportunities to support others, speak up for justice, and make a positive difference within their local and global communities. Students will engage in service experiences, reflect on their learning through a guided e-Journal, and be supported by a teacher-mentor and community agency partners throughout the program.
The program forms part of a wider initiative offered across Catholic schools and recognises students’ commitment to living their faith in action. At the conclusion of the year, participating students will be acknowledged at the St Mary MacKillop Faith in Action Award Ceremony.
Parents and guardians of interested students are invited to attend an online information session on Wednesday, 18 March from 6:30–7:30 pm, where further details about the program and participation requirements will be shared. Further information has been provided to families via Compass.
Reminder: Quickscan Survey – Parent Participation
From 2026, all school communities within Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) will participate in the Quickscan Survey, which invites members of the school community to reflect on how the Catholic identity of our school is experienced and expressed. The insights gathered help inform future initiatives and support the development of mission-focused practices within our school.
Students and staff at Caroline Chisholm College have already completed the survey, and we are now seeking the valuable input of parents and carers. The survey is anonymous, consists of 26 short questions, and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. We warmly encourage all families to participate, regardless of religious background, as every perspective helps strengthen our school community.
Please complete the survey by Sunday 26 April using the link below:

Thank you for taking the time to support this important initiative and for contributing to the ongoing growth of our Catholic learning community.
