We would like to invite you to Trinity College’s production of Newsies, from Thursday 1 May to Saturday 3 May 2025. Set in the bustling streets of 1899 New York City, Newsies is a tale of resilience, courage, and the power of collective action, conveyed through dynamic music and exhilarating choreography.
This production is a testament to the power of collaboration. Co-produced by Dr Robert Braham, Mrs Paula Nicoletto, and Ms Abigail Acton, our combined knowledge and experience has been invaluable in shaping this ambitious and vibrant show. Our creative vision and dedication have elevated this production, and it has been a privilege to collaborate with each other.
We would also like to acknowledge the hard work and determination of our incredibly talented cast and crew, whose passion has brought this heartwarming story to life. The journey has been one filled with learning, laughter, and creative triumphs, all culminating in the performance you are about to witness.
We are desperately needing newspapers to use in our upcoming musical: Newsies. If you have any newspapers that you can donate, please bring them to the Performing Arts Department - Level 1, Cultural Centre. Thank you.
Coogee Triathlon Volunteer Request
TC Friends of Performing Arts are asking for volunteers to assist with marshalling duties for the second (and final!) triathlon event for the year. These marshalling events are a significant fundraising activity in a social atmosphere. Funds raised go towards Friends on Performing Arts which supports our boys in the areas of music, dance, and drama.
Coogee Beach Triathlon | Sunday 30 March at Coogee Beach (Coogee)
This is the same day as the TC Quarry Concert. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to assist at the Quarry Concert. We now need a whole bunch more families to help out with the early morning volunteering of the Triathlon. We do appreciate that some of our volunteers will need to get away early enough to get their sons to rehearsals at the Quarry in the morning. If your boy is not involved in the Quarry Concert, please put yourself forward for the Triathlon marshalling.
