National Champion and WA Team Captain
Trinity College is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Lincoln, who recently competed at the Australian Track Cycling Nationals in Brisbane. His dedication and hard work paid off as he secured a Gold medal in the U17 Boys Team Sprint and a Bronze medal in the U17 Boys Time Trial. Winning a national title and earning the prestigious Australian jersey marks a significant milestone in Lincoln’s journey, and we are incredibly proud to see him recognised as the WA Team Captain.
Balancing elite sport and academics is no easy feat, and we commend Lincoln for his commitment both in and out of the classroom. Our staff have supported him in managing his studies alongside his training and competition schedule, ensuring he continues to excel in all aspects of school life.
Lincoln has now been selected to represent Australia in Malaysia at the end of April, a remarkable achievement that reflects his dedication to the sport. As he prepares for this next challenge, he will continue working closely with his teachers to maintain his academic progress.
WA U16 Boys Hockey Team
We are proud to share that two of our Year 10 students have been selected for the WA U16 Boys Hockey Team and will compete in the National Championships in Adelaide next week.
This is a fantastic achievement, and we congratulate them on their hard work and dedication to their sport. The boys had their official WA team shirt presentation this week, a proud moment as they prepare to represent our state on the national stage! We wish them all the best for the tournament and look forward to cheering them on!
