John XXIII Netball Club

Dear Netball Families
Round 11
Last Saturday was our first truly horrible winter day of the season. The rain was on and off throughout the day, with hail sweeping through three separate times.
A huge well done to all our coaches and players who braved the freezing rain, strong winds, and challenging conditions. Your resilience, commitment, and positive attitude were outstanding, and we are incredibly grateful for your dedication to the game despite the weather.
The conditions certainly had an impact on our results, with the club recording 8 wins from 30 games. While the scoreboard may not have reflected our usual standards, the determination shown by our players, coaches, umpires, and supporters in such difficult conditions was commendable.
Thank you for showing up, supporting your teams, and making the best of a very cold and wet day on the courts!
- Primary School: 2 wins, 4 losses
- Secondary School: 1 draw, 2 forfeits, 6 wins, 12 losses
- Alumni: 3 forfeits

Just to clarify the Spring Competition process
The Club has no involvement in Spring Competition registrations or team management. All teams must complete the PNA Competition Team Nomination Form to enter the competition and follow all required registration and competition processes.
I am, however, happy to assist self-nominated teams with sourcing an umpire if they have been unable to find one themselves. Teams are required to pay their umpire for the duration of spring. I can also provide game bags containing bibs and balls, for our JTC players/teams only.
Please note that teams with non-JTC players included in their team are not permitted to wear the College uniform or netball dress. These teams will need to source their own matching playing attire. Pull-over bibs can be provided if required.
To access support with umpires or game bags, the team's primary contact must complete the following form: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/bJWSKPVwGr
