Assistant Principal's Report

As we head towards the pointy end of the term, there has been plenty happening around the school! We’ve welcomed some new mid-year enrolments and it’s been fantastic to see current and future students exploring their options and choosing subjects for next year.

Our 2027 Subject Expo on Thursday was a busy and successful evening filled with great conversations. It was wonderful to meet lots of excited future students and supportive families. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event so welcoming and who proudly shared what makes our school such a great place to learn.

With the final few weeks of SACs upon us for Year 12s and exams fast approaching, now is the perfect time to stay organised, get on top of revision and make the most of the support available.

I’d also like to thank students for the way they continue to use the Study Centre when their teachers are absent. The space has been clean, productive and focused, creating an environment where everyone can do their best work. We regularly receive positive feedback from families during school tours, and it’s wonderful to see students being friendly, honest and helpful when meeting prospective students and visitors. It’s terrific to see that the same respect and kindness shown to guests continues in our day-to-day interactions with one another.

Finally, a reminder about the appropriate use of technology and keeping phones silent and invisible in lockers. Used well, technology can be a fantastic learning tool, so let’s continue to use it responsibly and respectfully. Thank you for the positive contribution you make to our school community every day.
