Year 11 Leadership Day
At St Peter’s College, leadership is about making a positive impact through service, integrity, and action. Guided by our core values of respect, responsibility, and unity, students are encouraged to embrace the principles of servant leadership and lead by example. The Year 11 Leadership Training Day provided an excellent opportunity for students to explore these principles, develop their leadership capabilities, and build confidence as they prepare to take on leadership roles within the College community.
This was the first year we combined the campuses, and it was great to have Cranbourne students join us at Clyde North. We began the day with a standout session led by Success Integrated, complete with an energetic DJ, which challenged students to consider the power of belief, positive self-talk, and the value of learning from those around them.
Other highlights of the day included a range of engaging team-building activities, such as the Egg Drop Challenge, which encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. In workshops students explored different leadership styles, what leadership is and reflected on how individual personality traits can influence communication, teamwork, and effective leadership. Students listened to the wisdom of current leaders such as Ms McKenna, Mr Hansen and the 2026 College Captains.
Grounded in our Catholic identity and inspired by the example of St Peter, students took time to reflect on the shared mission and values that unite our faith community. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of leaders, they considered how they can use their unique gifts and strengths in service to others, and how they might contribute positively to the College community as leaders in 2027 and beyond. Thank you to Pastoral Care Leaders and House Leaders for the workshops and organising the day.

Marley: Today's leadership excursion was inspiring for the future leadership opportunities in the school, I enjoyed learning about the multiple ways to change your mentality on how you can be leader in the school and out, with the title or not.
Tanishka: Year 11 leadership day was an eye-opening experience. We explored different qualities some of which we naturally had and some of which we pick up along the way. The seminar and sessions throughout the day allowed us to collaboratively work together and present our skills to each other. It was an unforgettable day with so much to learn!

Assisi Scrabble
Last week it was with great excitement that Assisi hosted their 2026 House Competition of Giant Scrabble. Congratulations to the winner, Glowrey House!
Augustine Karaoke
The Augustine House Karaoke Competition was a vibrant highlight of the term, bringing students together in a celebration of talent, house spirit, and friendly competition as participants took to the stage with enthusiasm, confidence, and plenty of energy.
