Father's Day Breakfast

A huge thank you to all the Dads, Grandparents and special persons who joined us this morning for a cuppa and a toastie. It was wonderful to see so many of you sharing this special time with our students and celebrating together as a school community. Moments like these remind us of the importance of coming together, building connections, and celebrating the people who make a difference in our children's lives. It is this strong sense of community, connection, and belonging that makes Whittlesea Primary School such a unique and wonderful place to be.

Principal for the Morning

On Monday, Matilda from Year 1 joined me as Principal for the Day after saving up her Golden Tickets. After reading a short speech at assembly, Matilda chose Assistant Principal Lottie to help her throughout the day as she took on some very important jobs. One of her key responsibilities was conducting a 'Principal Inspection' of every classroom, checking the cleanliness and presentation of each room, as well as how well everyone was learning. Matilda then gave each classroom a score out of 10 and emailed the teachers to share her results. Congratulations to Ms Carroll and 2C for achieving the highest score! Well done, Matilda, on being such a wonderful Principal for the Day!

Finally, with only 2 weeks of Term 3 left and the start of Spring, it certainly feels like we are getting closer to some warmer days and evenings.

We have also started our Pre-Foundation program, which helps our 2027 Foundation students settle in and feel part of our school community.  We look forward to seeing them on Mondays and Tuesdays .

The change of weather is also an indication that we are in footy finals fever.

For those who follow the AFL, good luck if your team is still 'alive'.

GO CATS!

Regards

Kaylene
