Dear Families, 

We’d like to take a moment to remind everyone about our safety and attendance procedures, which are in place to ensure the wellbeing of every child in our care.

When children are collected early or from school without notifying the service, our educators must follow a structured process to locate and confirm each child’s safety. This can include contacting the school, checking multiple areas, and contacting families. While this is essential for child safety, it can be time-consuming and may temporarily delay follow-up for other children. 

To help us keep all children safe and ensure smooth operations, we kindly ask that families: Notify TeamKids if your child will be collected after school or will not be attending that afternoon – a simple text is all that’s needed to 0432 581 665. 

Understand that attendance checks take time – these procedures are thorough to make sure every child is safe. Be aware that when multiple children need follow-up, it can delay the next child being accounted for – following the process carefully is essential for the safety of all children.
