Opening School Mass – A Heartfelt Thank You

Our sincere thanks to all our amazing staff, students and families who contributed to making our Opening School Mass such a beautiful and memorable celebration. It was a truly special evening that reflected the faith, warmth and strong sense of community that defines Sacred Heart.

A special thank you to Kate for her wonderful organisation of the Mass, including the thoughtful gifts for our Foundation families, and to Marty and Kate for their fantastic work with our beautiful choir. We also extend our thanks to Marie, James and Marty for their dedication and care in preparing our 2026 School Leaders.

Thank you to everyone in our school community for your support, generosity and involvement. Together, you helped create a meaningful and uplifting celebration for all.

Thank you so much to Cettina for organising the beautiful Year 6 rugby jumpers, they will be a treasured keepsake for our students. A heartfelt thank you also for the thoughtful surprise of a beautiful one for me too. Such a truly kind and generous gesture. They look amazing!

2026 Student Leadership

After many weeks of thinking, writing, speaking, persuading and, finally, voting, the Student Leaders of Sacred Heart have been announced. At this week's beautiful Opening Mass, the senior students of Sacred Heart were allocated their roles. This has been an exhaustive process, with much thanks to our Year 5/6 teachers, James and Marie who have worked tirelessly to ensure that each child's voice was heard and that their skill sets and personal talents were taken into account. We congratulate all students on their position of responsibility and look forward to working alongside each and every one of them to help us make our school even better! W E L L D O N E ! ! !
