Student Leadership

We proudly acknowledge our 2026 Student Leadership group who has stepped forward with courage and a strong commitment to the Borinya community. 

Shayla Marengo-Ivins, Malachy Allen, Patty Dobbyn, Wil Lane, Ciara Bennett, Maddie O'Connor, Jack Larfield, Dylan Graham and Jade Scown. 

These students have accepted the important responsibility of representing student voice, supporting school initiatives, and modelling the values that define Borinya. The Student Leadership cohort’s responsibilities include promoting student voice via student suggestions that are collected weekly which are discussed and followed up, making sure that Borinya stays safe by leading with empathy and compassion, promote a clean and safe environment by initiating maintenance and clean up in and around our learning spaces, and supporting Caritas’ Project Compassion by hosting fundraising enterprises. Through their leadership, they help foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and cultivate a sense of belonging across our school. We thank them for their dedication and look forward to the positive impact they will continue to make within our community.
