Environmental Science

In Environmental Science the Foundation students grew paper cup wheat seed heads. All the students germinated seeds in paper towel and later grew them in paper cups, which they took home.
The students have been busy weeding the school vegetable garden. They helped to prune the fruit trees and the garden beds were to be top up with new soil.
We enjoyed a good harvest of broccoli and cauliflower and the warmer weather will allow the students to plant out the summer vegetables.
These are basil, corn, cucumber, tomato, capsicum, pumpkin and zucchini. The students sieved the compost and were busy spreading the new tree mulch along the pathway and at the olive orchard area.
