As we embark on a new term, let's take a moment to reflect on the wonderful activities our students and families enjoyed at the end of Term 3. Here's a glimpse into the fun and learning that took place:
In English class, our students had a blast preparing vegetarian nachos! Working in groups, they read and followed a recipe, practising verbs like chopping, mixing, and dicing. It was heartwarming to see everyone participating, enjoying a healthy and delicious meal, and enhancing their English skills all at once.

At the Heights Campus, we wrapped up our 6-week "Healthy Bodies and Healthy Relationships" program by showcasing the beautiful artworks created by the women. Engaging in paint-by-numbers was not only a relaxing activity but also a meaningful way to practice mindfulness. These artworks now serve as cherished keepsakes, reminding everyone of the wonderful memories made together.

This term, we're excited to continue our Hub programs. On the Heights Campus, we kicked off our yoga sessions with Aditi, a physiotherapist from Dandenong Mental Health and Wellbeing. The ladies have been learning stretches and exercises to help relieve body pain, promoting both physical health and mental relaxation.
In our playgroup, the children are having a fantastic time learning through play. With the warmer weather, water play has been a hit! Last week, the children used pipettes to develop their fine motor skills while practicing the word "squeeze." Playgroup is not just about fun, it's a place where children learn social skills, mathematics, and enhance their oral language development.

We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming sessions and continuing this journey of learning and growth together!
