Student Excursion

Sea life Aquarium Excursion
In Term 4, Orange class students visited Sea Life Aquarium to explore marine life up close and explore how it linked to sustainability. We split into two groups and went on a scavenger hunt. Students needed to take photos at pit stops, answer questions about the aquarium and draw different marine life. They walked through tunnels surrounded by fish, sharks and a huge stingray and had the chance to interact with creatures in touch pools.
Students also learned about ocean ecosystems and the impact of human activity on marine life. They saw jellyfish.
All of Orange class enjoyed watching the penguins, waddling around and watching them sleeping (whilst standing up!) We measured ourselves to see how tall they were compared to penguins.
Orange Class enjoyed a sunny walk into the city and we ended the trip by getting lunch. Great work Orange Class on another fun excursion.
