Our Lady of Fatima Mass and candlelight procession
Saturday May 11th, amidst a week of unprecedented rainfall, St. Mary's Cathedral was filled with a spirit of faith and wonder. Families, including Sienna(3G) and her family , as well as Zara(3W) with her mum, gathered alongside Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Barbera, and Mrs. Hannigan for a very special experience with Mass presided over by Bishop Umbers.
After mass we carried our candles and rosaries and and united in a candlelight procession, paying homage to Mary on the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima. The rain stopped during the procession, however once the statue of Our Lady had returned into the Cathedral the heavens opened and it poured. A true miracle to see, Mary always the protector.
