Upcoming SCC event- Good Friday Appeal

The Royal Children’s Hospital runs the Good Friday Appeal, supporting children and families in need. The Good Friday Appeal helps the hospital deliver the best possible care to patients.

For a gold coin donation, students can support this day by coming to school on Thursday, 3 April dressed in their favourite pyjamas. The funds will be donated to the Royal Children’s hospital.

As part of this day, Cranbourne South Primary School will be holding an Easter Bonnet Parade on the new multipurpose hard court. Students are encouraged to come to school with an Easter bonnet hat so that they can participate in the fun. Parents/ carers are welcome to attend the parade. The parade will begin at 9:15am- all parents/ carers are welcome to join.

Start thinking about what materials you may like to use to help make your Easter bonnet. You can be as creative as you wish- it would be great to see students incorporating recycled materials to hand make their bonnets.

iSea iCare Peer workshop

Hi, everyone! We’re your 'I Sea, I Care' ambassadors for 2025.

On Friday 25th March, we went to Botanic Ridge Primary School to meet other I sea, I care ambassadors who love the ocean like us.

We talked about dolphins, seals, and how to keep our beaches clean—it was so great to learn together. They showed us how to teach younger kids about saving marine animals, and we shared ideas too.

We all want to help the planet, so we made plans to tell our school more about the ocean and how we can be more environmentally friendly.

It was an awesome day, and now we’re ready to be leaders for our sea—let’s all care for it!

Gardening Club

Gardening Club is held each Thursday during Break 1. Albert, Jax and Nate are the Leaders of this club with lots of students from throughout the school attending.

At the moment we are spreading mulch on the garden beds. We are very much looking forward to planting in Term 2.
